 There are many exciting new board books in the children's area at Elk Point's Municipal Library, including touch-and-feel books that are sure to keep your babies attention! Stop by the library to check out these awesome new selections for our younger patrons like "Never Touch a Dragon" and many others! Don't forget that signing up for a library card is free of charge and nothing is better than getting to read free books! 

This year's summer reading program is just around the corner! Drop by the library to sign up your children for fun summer activities! Registration runs from June 5th until June 29th. Signing up after these dates will result in a $10 late fee. More information can be provided at the library :)

 The Friends of the Elk Point Library are hosting a garage sale on June 1st-2nd. Donations for the garage sale would be greatly appreciated, stop by the library with your items or call us at (780)724-3737.

 Board Books for Babies will start up again on May 17th and run every Thursday at 10:30am until June 7th!

 Board Books for Babies is coming back to the library! treat your little ones to stories, songs, rhymes, snacks and a FREE quality children's book each week. ages 0-3 (older siblings welcomed). Every Tuesday at 2 pm January 23rd to February 13th. Registration is required, deadline January 16th, 2018 and there is no cost for this event.  Rhyme Time is starting again! Bring your children ages 0-5 to enjoy songs, rhymes, snacks, finger plays and simple movement games together in a fun and friendly atmosphere. It will be starting on January 18th and will continue January 25th, February 1st,8th,5th and 22nd. Every Thursday at 1:30 pm from January 18th until February 22nd.  As of January 3rd we will be changing our hours again to Monday 10am-6pm, Tuesday 10am-6pm, Wednesday 12pm-7pm, Thursday 10am-6pm, Friday 10am-6pm and closed on Saturday and Sunday!
